been unsubscribed to spotify since the start of the year and think i have finally found my way around apple music enough that i'll stick to that. still prioritising deep listening over letting it play as background music. but sometimes background music is all i need...

so many ideas, so little inclination to finish them

anyone else wanna eat beige food when they're feeling overwhelmed

spent the weekend at my mum's house going through my cd collection. i didn't realise how many i had and now i have to plan how to transport them back to ldn.

went to a local coffe shop to grab lunch and read. after i arrived, 6 dudes all with laptops and wearing 3/4 zip jumpers come in. they all proceed to take up all the availiable tables because there's none in the laptop work area and jump onto a zoom call. one of them didn't have some headphones so subjected other patrons to "kpi's" and "securing business investments". i wish coffee shops would have more courage to stop this behaviour or just encourage people to not take up space with laptops. i guess business come first. although, only 3/6 of the dudes bought a drink.

back home after a small getaway for our anniversary, we went to stay at a typical english seaside town. yes we did eat fish and chips on the beach, got a mr. whippy ice cream while it was cold out, and watched the sunset - when it dipped past the horizon everyone cheered and applauded.

bought my first piece for my first pc build project, amd radeon rx 7700 xt gpu. would like to buy more pieces but finances say no for now :(

back to the old "which is better" debate - soundcloud or mixcloud...

i had such a good day today. morning errends run with my gf, dropped off photos for processing, thrifted a book worth £100 for £1.99, wondered around an art gallery, and bought some new perfume plus had some freebies thrown in with my purchase

thinking about restarting my project of making a radio "station"...

added dark mode to the site, looks like it's working correctly :D

3 days off in a row, and today is a date day. we're going to east london to hang out in a park and go to a talk about the politics of smell and femininity. drinks and dinner to follow
